Announcing New Text and Array Functions

The formula snippets were taken from the advanced formula editor.  The AFE wraps the core function with LAMBDA and the parameter string when it uploads the function to Excel as a defined Name. 

Please accept my apologies for messing about with your problem.  You had done some interesting things, not least the layout of the results, so it gave me a valuable test case for my somewhat unusual Excel programming strategy.

On the worksheet, this last formula would read

      dealt,   SORTBY(deck, shuffle),
      WRAPROWS(dealt, 4) )
  )()

Note: Changing to WRAPROWS makes the formula more faithful to the physical act of dealing which gives each player a card in turn rather than giving each a block of 13 cards as their hand.  Given that the values are random number it makes no material difference.
