Experimentation is key to unlocking innovation in any field. It’s how we learn and grow, and it’s what helps us continue to create features that help you do more.
So today, we are thrilled to a...
This is getting worse and worse! What I want is for the AFE to be a straightforward replacement for the formula bar, but one that covers Lambda and Names as well as the grid formulae. I was perfectly happy with selecting it from the formula tab, though.
Now ...
... I seem to start with an overcrowded Home Tab, first selecting Add-ins, then Excel Labs and finally the AFE. I may get around to trying the Generative AI but right now I simply need to create a set of nested Lambda functions that builds the solution.
Mind you I am now tempted to try to get the AI function to program 'in the style of Peter Bartholomew' i.e.
1. No direct cell references (these are to be trapped and disabled as qualitative errors)
2. No use of relative referencing (excepts structured references to source data)
3. Any formula that will not fit on a single screen should be partitioned into further Lambda functions
4. Worksheet formulas should be presented as a Named Lambda function (no naked formulas)
