Advanced Formula Environment is becoming Excel Labs, a Microsoft Garage Project!

Hello everybody,  and thank you for the Region fix of the AFE 

I had started to prepare a template file with a bunch of Lambda's that i had saved in the Name manager before the region support was implemented in the AFE. The lambdas is going to replace some old macros, trying to have the formulas beeing selv contained in the template file, so that a recipents who dont have the macros doesn't recieve a broken workbook. 

My Question is now then: should i use Functions, formulas or Modules, what are the differencese between these, do they have different capabilities, what is considered best practices.  Which of these can be viewer within the name manager, is there some of them that cannot be viewed in the name manager ? do there excist some guidlines and learning material that i have failed to find?  my first approach was too chech Youtube where i heard mostly general stuff, not much in depth information about best practices for each of the types.
