I am a OneNote evangelist at my corporation.
I'm a big fan of the older OneNote 2019, with the fuller ribbon options, and titled icons. As part of my job, I train product team members how to best use the communication tools within Teams/SharePoint/OneNote, and Outlook. I encourage all of our staff to use OneNote 2019 (I call it OneNote Classic) and not to use OneNote for Windows 10. ONW10 doesn't have all the features as OneNote Classic. Training staff to use the icons on the ribbon without descriptive titles is way more difficult. The icon title is a reminder of the action they want to do. Also many of the Meeting tools are missing on ONW10 (Find Tags, Email Page). We use OneNote to take meeting minutes all day long. Please don't hide the meeting tools (Meeting Details, Email Page, To Do Tags, Find Tags), these are used repeatedly all day long. ONW10 might be fine on a tablet but it's not for professionals to use as a corporate communication tool.
