Ordinarily I'd try to leave a more verbose and detailed comment but this is all I can manage this week:
I've tried to use the new "Manitoba Standard Time" timezone and have found issues with it. At this point in time I'm leaning towards not using it for now and going with "SA Pacific Standard Time" (Lima/Bogota/etc) instead.
- If MBT is set and MS Teams is restarted, Teams doesn't seem to recognize the timezone and shows message timestamps one hour behind than they should be.
- If MBT is set and OneNote opened, the quick-part (or whatever it's called) for adding Meeting invite details shows calendar entries one hour behind than they should be.
- The new TZ doesn't appear yet in MS365 services (myaccount.microsoft.com for example). Might be "too early" for that, but doesn't inspire confidence with two weeks to go.
- If MBT is set, Gmail shows timestamps on messages one hour earlier than it should (calendar seems fine, weirdly enough). "SA Pacific Standard Time" is not impacted by this.
Not loving my options.
