December 2014 DST Cumulative Update for Windows Operating Systems

The December 2014 DST Cumulative Update for Windows Operating Systems is now available. It contains the following changes:

• Russia time zones
  Russia has changed its existing time zones on October 26, 2014. This change included seven updated time zones, three new time zones, and two existing time zones that merged into one.


• Fiji Standard Time
  Fiji has changed its daylight saving time (DST) start time to November 2, 2014 and end time January 18, 2015.


• Cape Verde Standard Time
  Time zone name for “Cape Verde Standard Time” time zone is changed to “Cabo Verde Standard Time." The display name of this time zone is now "(GMT-01:00) Cabo Verde Islands."
