Supercharge BI insights with the new Azure Synapse Analytics workspace connector for Power Query

This rather interesting connector has been in public preview for just over a year. Can you please advise if there is still a plan to eventually make it GA and if so, on what time frames?

Also, the connector's splash screen references a "third-party service". However, the link that's intended to describe it is broken (as of current November 2022 version of Power BI Desktop). Can you please describe the nature of this "third-party service"?

I concur with the previous comment in that it would help to see a side-by-side comparison between the capabilities of this connector vs. the Azure Synapse Analytics SQL connector.
