Hello ZoranRilak ,

 

Thank you for your response. Just an update here:

1. Backup actually works ok. What I could not make work was a restore from the same storage account. 

2. At this stage, we are unable to run with managed identity and we use SAS token to access the SA. We have used SAS with same permissions to perform backup (worked fine) and restore (had to Allow public IP access on the SA firewall to restore the DBs).
