MicrosoftGreat explanation. I have one question remaining though. What do you do if you frequently get these null values? Is there a way to restore this monitoring myself or reaching out to Azure?

The idea here is that there is nothing wrong with seeing those gaps in the "Availability" Azure Monitor metric at times when there is no activity on the Storage Account. As long as that's the case, there shouldn't be a required action from your end regarding what the Availability metric shows, as soon the Storage Account receives some requests again, the chart will start showing the new Availability data.
