James Adair - You are correct I do have a static IP at present, but in the past I have had dynamic IP addresses. It is possible, you just need to get creative and to detect your IP address change, and re-issue an AZ-CLI command. I authored this ages ago, it was not Azure DNS or Route53 but it used another DNS provider to update an A record. I hope this gets your mind thinking here.

If it was me today, I would author a python script running on something that is always on in my house (A raspberry Pi) and have it detect IP change, and reissue commands accordingly.
