Announcing Azure HBv5 Virtual Machines: A Breakthrough in Memory Bandwidth for HPC

Can you highlight the h/w similarities and differences between the HBv5 platform and a node consisting of four AMD MI300C ? I understand that the HBv5 has no classic DRAM but only uses HBM3, correct? How much is the L3 per HBv5 core? Is the L3 and HBM "intimately" connected, as if the HBM3 is extension of the L3 or does the HBM3 from the core perspective is considered the main memory h/w ?
