Hi Lazario1966 ,

 

The ideal would be to change the data type of the parameter that is being declared by the application, but that could also be an option:

 

"You could also change the data type of the column from varchar to nvarchar. Keep in mind this will double the space necessary for the data, including in the buffer cache, so it can impact the performance of other queries. Also, changing the data type will cause unavailability."
