I have created an account here purely to thank Eric_Darling for his simple and quick fix to a problem that Microsoft wanted my neighbour to reset her whole PC to fix.  Eric's fix took about 3 minutes.  Microsoft's approach would have meant she would still be reinstalling packages and trying to find licence codes many months down the line.
