Will it be possible to upgrade unsupported resource groups / appservice plans to the V4 sku without having to create a new plan or resource group in the future?

Many of simply don't have the possibility to do so and it would be great to simply be able to update our existing V3 plans to their V4 version.

    Thank you however:

    • You cannot clone Function apps
    • You cannot clone Linux apps
    • This creates configuration drift beyond VNET integration
    • You need to recreate role assignments as well

    For most of us, it's either an in-place upgrade or planning a downtime window to redeploy all pipelines and get the desired state with certainty. No in-between.
