This has not been implemented well at all. I've got 0 for everything, so I can't deploy anything without raising a support ticket, which is pretty **bleep** poor.

cacophonic​ If I understand your issue correctly, you're experiencing additional friction from having individual quotas default to zero in constrained regions, which means that you can't deploy anything in those regions without requesting quota. Is that accurate?

Assuming so, it's worth noting a few details about the experience:

  1. You can request quota without filing a support ticket. Especially for smaller requests, in-line increases are made automatically within a few minutes.
  2. Initial implementation took into account existing usage, so you shouldn't have lost any quota that you previously had. 0 for everything should only be true in regions where you intend to increase usage after the Public Preview launched.
  3. Requiring quota to enable new deployment in a constrained region is not a new behavior, though it might be more obvious now that you can see which regions are showing 0 instances enabled for deployment.
