Hello.
Nice article. When I tried to follow the steps, though, I got an error on the creation of the new primary key. The error was: "future_primary_key is already associated with a constraint"
I was able to solve that by changing the future_primary_key creation to
CREATE UNIQUE INDEX CONCURRENTLY future_primary_key ON target_table (column_bigint, other_column);
Wondering if that change would indeed be correct. Any thoughts?
