However, I am curious to understand what the advantages could be of using Logical replication for DR scenarios across multi region. On the other hand, Microsoft also recommends, read replica approach and promote Read replica as Read/Write server in case DR occurs. In addition, did you try Logical replication for multi region when PostgreSQL DB Flexi server is provisioned using Private VNET and public access is NOT allowed. I believe that in this configuration, we require VNST Peering because both DBs would be provisioned in separate VNETs in different regions. Please share your inputs.
