Need help with developer account registration form [resolved]
Hello, everyone! I want to publish my extension on Microsoft Edge Add-ons. I was following the guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/extensions-chromium/publish/publish-extension#before-you-begin and it linked me to https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/registration/AccountInfo?accountProgram=MSEdgeAddons to register as a developer. I then filled the form, with all required fields filled out, and clicked submit. But it then tell me to "choose a state or province" under the "State/Province" input box, even though I've filled it out! After playing with the form for a while, I discover that if I select "United States" or "Canada", the "State/Province" input box turns into a drop-down list, and I can select one from the list. I haven't tried submitting the form though, as that would set the country for my account to the US and it's not possible to change it later. I suspect this is a bug on Microsoft's server. But in any case, I would greatly appreciate your help to get me through this registration form. Edit: Resolved after contacting MS support. Turns out I need to put in the initials of the state/province.
