I am trying to replace a subtitle VTT file on a video on stream due to some typos. However, after I replace the VTT file by removing the previous subtitles and uploading the updated VTT file(update video details>subtitles>edit), the new subtitles are not updated on the video when refreshed. Why are the updated subtitles not reflecting on Stream after replacing them?Share your voice: Video Accessibility (captions, etc.)

I hosted a Teams Live Event and captured the video with subtitles for 6 different languages. I was able to upload to Stream and add the 6 subtitle *.vtt files. There was some pre chit-chat that was captured at the beginning of the video so I used the "trim" feature in Stream to remove it. However, once the video updates, 5 of the 6 languages that have subtitles are missing. *Note: I have tried to "re-upload" the video, add the *.vtt files and trim but the same thing happens every time. I lose 5 of the 6 translations - and it's different each time.Captions showing letters with accents as '?'
I'm deploying a video to a dozen different countries, so I have a dozen different VTT files so viewers can select the language they want when they're watching the video. However, all letters with accents are currently being replaced with a '?' in a diamond instead of the actual letter. This means that countries like Spain, Portugal and Sweden are having a lot of trouble reading the captions. Is there a way to fix this myself? Or is it a bug that needs a central fix?Solved5.9KViews2likes4CommentsAzue Media Explorer - Closed captions / Subtitles in
I am having an issue with embedding Closed Captions / Subtitles when using Azure Media Explorer. The subtitle files are generated and I choose the option to embed the Caption files but when I play back the files in Media Player or VLC the captions are not there. I can manually add in the captions but this defeats the objective of automating our captioning process. https://github.com/Azure/Azure-Media-Services-Explorer/releases/tag/v4.2.0.1 I wonder if anyone could help or offer some suggestions. Is it possible to automate this same process using a Logic App?974Views0likes0Comments
