stream failure
2 TopicsVideo error - I change the video description and it becomes audio only
Hi! I have uploaded a video to SharePoint for my colleagues, and if I don't change any information, such as the title, description, adding a thumbnail or subtitles, the video works perfectly. However, when I try to modify any of this information, Stream displays it as an audio track, with a still image (the thumbnail) on the video preview. To trick the issue i had to upload a blank empty png thumbnail that allows to shows the video behind. Im' not so happy about it. How can I solve this issue? Ironically, if I download the MP4 video from SharePoint, it opens as a video, as it should be. Thanks for the advices! Giovanni1.3KViews0likes1CommentFrequent Failure to Load
I have created a SharePoint intranet site for my organization and have included around a dozen tutorial videos that I have embedded. For several hours in the mornings over the last few days, the embedded videos will not load, and when I go to microsoftstream.com, I am getting "The server encountered an error while searching for videos - please try again later". Embedded videos show "Failed to load this video, please try again" This literally started happening the day of our go-live, so it is extremely frustrating and making us look like we don't know what we are doing. It's ridiculous. I figured that I would have FEWER problems embedding using MS' own video service, not more. I shouldn't have to go start a Youtube channel in order to embed videos that will show up reliably. Can anyone advise if there is some fix for this?
