39 TopicsIssue with viewing mode for E5 licensed users
I'm a sysadmin for a Health care provider in Sweden and we have an issue with users with an E5 license loading into Office apps in view-mode. As far as I know we are a coupe of organisations providing health care that have this same issue. Background: We have a mix of F3 and E5 licenses and sometimes the F3 licensed users need to view documents that contains info that isn't allowed to be saved in the cloud. To minimize the popups that show up when a user starts word unlicensed we have a GPO (viewer mode) that says that it should open i view-mode. Per my understanding this GPO is device based and not user based. However, this also affects the users of E5 license who regularly change workstations, easily 5-10 devices in a day. Since they should be able to view and edit documents in office apps it causes frustration and confusion when they load into view-mode and have to log out and then in again (or update license) and restart the program. Our computers devices are Microsoft Entra hybrid joined and shared computer licensing is enabled. Are there any solutions or viable workarounds for this issue? It's not complicated for users to handle but frustrating and causes a lot of tickets to the support team. Unsure if I'll be able to participate due to the time zone difference but will appreciate any and all help. /Per EkholmNot so Dark theme
Is there something that can be edited or is an option coming to enable a more contrasting but less harsh theme to MS365 apps and Windows? As I’ve got older I need to turn down brightness because the extremes in the current themes, White, Black, Dark Grey, are too harsh, but that doesn’t quite achieve what I need. A light grey, giving better contrast than white for those that need it but not so harsh and depressing as the dark versions, would be ideal. We’re lacking options at the light end of the spectrumReally strange "graphics" issue in PowerPoint
I have a single, brand new, Lenovo t14s with AMD CPU, where the user is experiencing strange graphics behaviour in PowerPoint. Randomly elements (icons, text boxes, images etc.) on the slide becomes invisible / hidden, like a big white box. You cant select anything in the box or move the elements. When the user goes one slide forward and then returns, the sections / elements are visible again. I have tried to update the AMD graphics drivers to the newest. Disabled hardware graphics acceleration in settings. Made a quick repair of Office. Made a web repair of Office (states it should resolve all errors) We are running O365 Business Premium and using the Enterprise monthly release channel. The computer is 3 weeks old, we have other af the same model, but haven't heard from any other user about issues like this. Have any of you seen an issue like this and know of a fix? - I can't seem to find anything on google. I have attached a screenshot of the issue, where there should have been a lot of content on the slide, but instead is a big white box.459Views0likes0CommentsRebooted my Macbook and Powerpoint disappeared
I need some help. I did a simple reboot of my Macbook and when I went back in, Powerpoint had disappeared. I still have Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Notes. How do I restore it? I have a subscription to Office for Mac professional. Thanks!634Views0likes0CommentsKleine Symbole in benutzerdefiniertem Menüband (Powerpoint)
Viele Grüße DavidPowerPoint on M1 Mac does not work properly
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I have been using an M1 MacBook for several months now. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing significant issues with PowerPoint. Some functions do not work. Among them are objects arrangement, object alignment, and object grouping as well as making text bold, in italics, or aligned. I have been using Teams or the browser version to make those edits, but I am sick of it. Today, I reinstalled the app but the bugs remain. Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you very much! Hi everyone, Does anyone also experience an issue where office apps close without notification but no event is registered about app crash? the only thing I found was, when an app (Excel for example) closes this is the event registered during the close: Microsoft Office 16 Alerts - 300 Activated App Id=fe93bfe1-7947-460a-a5e0-7a5906b51360, DisplayName= Insights, Provider=Microsoft, StoreType=Exchange, StoreId=886421C7EDF9954FA71B61309A06F7C1 P1: Apps for Office P2: 16.0.13929.20222 P3: P4: This only happens to one of my users but I don't want this to be some issue that will spread.
