Hi there, We want to launch MS Bookings, but are frustrated that the appointment titles (that appear in the Outlook calendar event title) are the exact same for every meeting. This makes it very hard to quickly see differences between the appointments, most importantly, who the appointment is with. Ideally, we could customize the title, and have the option to insert the first name / last name of the person booking (or any other info collected). However, right now all our bookings look identical. They simply take the title of the Service + the title of the booking page... in this case my test service is called "30-min meeting (Dylan)" and the booking page is called "Test Add Guests": Ideally, if, for example, "Bob Smith" booked the meeting and added his company name as "Bob Co."... the title would be something like "30-min meeting (Dylan) with Bob Smith from Bob Co.". Hi anyone knows if there's a possibility in Microsoft Bookings to make the option to select staff mandatory and|or disable the option to select anyone? I want to avoid that costumers make an appointment with all staff that's available at a certain point. This is what happens when you don't select a certain staff member but leave the option to -Anyone-. The system creates multiple appointments with all staff available during the selected time slot. Bookings shows various issues particularly since the beginning of September, but we are able to trace up few issues since mid-august. Here are few of the major issues we are aware presently: No email sent to the Bookings owner and no update in outlook when the client rescheduled. Only the client will have the email and the update of the appointment. Resulting no show from us for the client. No internal note are shown in Outlook or Bookings calendar. Instead the information of the client and meeting are shown in a weird formatting. Email are not formatted with the correct language, despite the page is correctly configurated. Teams link in Bookings calendar are broke (shown in plain text) and does not show correctly in email (not a button but a long hyperlink) Event on outlook calendar does not show the client name, we need to open the calendar appointment to see this information. Few of these issues are really major and impacting the appointment with client. What is going on? This ticket is a follow up of an old ticket I opened in september (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/bookings-is-acting-up-since-mid-august-lot-of-issues/m-p/3922506) Bookings shows various issues particularly since the end of november (to be more precise, on november 28th). Here are the issues we are able to trace up: No internal note are shown in Outlook or Bookings calendar. Email are not formatted with the correct language, despite the page is correctly configurated. Teams link in Bookings calendar are broke (shown in plain text) when you open an event. .ICS of every Bookings event in outlook and bookings appear weirldy formatted. The most significant problem is that reminder emails are being sent in duplicate, triplicate, and sometimes even six times to clients. Clients are displeased with the spam they receive from MS Bookings regarding their appointments. This is causing significant problems for our enterprise. We presently have two reminders email setup for client; 3 days before and one day before the appointment, and presently, if the appointment is taken within 24 hours, the two reminders emails are sent right after the confirmation email, resulting in spam. This behavior is abnormal and not in line with Microsoft Bookings' usual functionality. We currently have approximately 80 Bookings pages in use, with around 2000 appointments scheduled each month. MS Bookings has been tested in our environment since December 2022 and implemented with customers since April 2022. This is the second time we've encountered such issues. It significantly impacts our trust in this solution and prompts us to reconsider the reliability MS Bookings is providing. Could you please provide a quick response regarding these issues? In our environment, we are currently unable to use any 1hr events that don't begin on the hour. (No, seriously.) So for example, my MS-900 class I teach at 18:30 every week? Users can't book it. My class that starts at 15:00 on a Saturday? Totally fine. The workaround? YOU NEED TO MAKE THE MEETING 59 MIN LONG, NOT 1 hr. It's honestly a miracle that our manager even noticed this and thought to do it, not everyone will I'm sure. (as a side note, we really need a feature to "ignore availability" for the teacher/staff. I had an old appointment in my calendar that I didn't need, but even after deleting it our users cannot book me on bookings. ideally, if it could "ignore availability", we could just assign every class to our shared receptionist email. )2.2KViews3likes9CommentsI Cannot See Text on Bookings App
I tried to wait to see if there was a resolve and noticed that I didn't see anyone with this particular issue. I registered a booking page through the bookings app. I went and tried to schedule an appointment as a trial and noticed that after selecting a date and time to book, the additional fields at the base of the page either have no text present or are the same color as the background and cannot be seen. So, if I launch this no one will know what information to place where. Is there some kind of resolve for this? Is it possible to allow the person booking a MS Bookings meeting to add additional emails as "guests"? For example, someone could add their colleagues who would also like to join the product demo that they're booking. Calendly has this by default and you can add up to 10 additional emails. My teammates we've been working on offering software training for our clients. We want them to fill out a form, and then they can select the booking. We've noticed that bookings will sometimes wipe out the entire email list for a specific training day. Makes it hard for us to keep track of how many participants are there and I'm not sure if the client has been removed from the training day - I don't think it has because we would have received complaints from clients about a cancelled training day and the booking remains visible in my outlook calendar. I also noticed that booking has another error. One client signed up and now every time a booking email confirmation comes to my email, the header will read the client's name that he booked it but when I look in the email it reads another person's name. Meaning the booking email subject is incorrect and the actual person who signs up is in the body of the email. I wish there was a chat agent to speak about this because I can't seem to figure it out and may need to switch from bookings and forms altogether.960Views2likes1CommentReservations start from full hours.
I have set my availability on Mondays between 8:30 and 10:30. Duration of the meeting: 1 hour. Time increments: 1 hour. Why the program does not show me my two available booking dates, which is 8:30 and 9.30. The program only shows me the time of the 9:00 meeting. Only one appointment. As I set the increments of time every 30 minutes, available dates will be displayed at 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 am, which is stupid because it allows the client to make an appointment at 9:00, so 1 hour stays with the gates of possibility making an appointment.4.7KViews2likes6Comments
