Hotpatching on Windows
Hotpatching is an impact-less update technology which has been keeping the Azure fleet up-to-date for years with zero impact on customer workloads. Hotpatching is also available for Windows Server Azure Edition customers and we're working on making it available more broadly over time. This article describes how Hotpatching is implemented in the operating system.
