This is intended as feedback not a discussion topic. I recently was forced at work to use the Microsoft Edge browser instead of Internet Explorer. The reason I was the most disappointed about the switch would be the inability to customize the favorites icons on my favorites bar. Microsoft should change the favorites bar to enable this feature. Also, they should add more icon choices. For those unfamiliar, in IE by right-clicking the icon and selecting properties, you could change the appearance of the icon.787Views0likes1CommentSync Favorites in Edge Chromium
Hello There was a problem syncing favorites in Edge (105.0.1343.42): There are 4 devices using the same Microsoft account to sync. For some time now, synchronization between devices has partially stopped working. It is noticed that one part of the favorites is synchronized between one pair of devices, another part is synchronized between the second pair. It seems that somewhere there is a setting, what should be synchronized between what. Profile settings in Edge are set to the same settings.445Views0likes0CommentsBug - Favorites are deleted - Windows - Edge dev - 106.0.1363.0
Hello, I am using Windows 11 and Edge dev 106.0.1363. I have noticed the about half of favorites are deleted and do not exist anymore. I use them daily. I am logged in with Work or school account / Azure AD and have enabled cloud sync for all features. I do not have any special setting flags enabled / modified. How to recover back favorites? Restart computer and browser did not help and revert them back.601Views0likes1CommentYou can now sync your favorites with Application Guard Window from Windows Defender
Microsoft Edge version 91.0.831.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) you need to enable this newly added flag:edge://flags/#edge-wdag-favorites-sync and then when you open a new application guard window, your favorites will be there. Collectionsand Favorites (of all these tabs I want all of them) The idea of these is that you want to save a set of tabs outside the normal opening and closing of tabs so that they are sort of safe or protected from losing them. Collections differs from favorites in that the tabs are not so important individually and can be saved on mass. An important aspect is that tab saving is somewhat permanent, removing tabs has to be done manually. Workspaces and Tab Set Aside(of all these tabs I want at least one of them) The Idea of workspaces and tab set aside is that you cannot be bothered to know what tabs are important and which are not at the moment and want to "set them aside" for now. No tab is important enough to have a permanent safe place but at least one of them is probably important. Tabs can be added and (more importantly) removed on a whim without manually removing it from its group (just closing a tab) please do not use one of these as a replacement of the other. While technically both "save tabs" they are completely opposite in their use.6.5KViews2likes0CommentsSay hello to the new Favorite Sidebar feature in the Edge browser
Microsoft EdgeVersion 87.0.654.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit) (This could be a controlled feature rollout meaning only available to a subset of insiders) this is the new view you get when you click on favorites button on Edge toolbar and once you click on that Pin icon, the sidebar will show up I love this mechanism and implementation, very neat and smart! thanks also the favorites menu no longer closes when you open favorite sites in new tabs, something I know a lot of people asked for.21KViews8likes37Comments“Save all tabs to favorites” on iOS?
I’ve tried ‘press-holding’ on almost every UI element and checking every menu I could think of, but I can’t figure out how to “Save all tabs to favorites” on the iOS version of Edge. (Searching online for a dozen minutes didn’t turn up anything promising, either.) Am I missing something obvious, or has this perhaps not yet been implemented yet? (I can’t imagine syncing favorites would have came before this basic feature)1.9KViews0likes1Comment
