Hello everyone, We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings. Our setup allows external customers to book appointments via the published booking link on our website. However, we have noticed that staff members can still be double-booked, even when their Outlook calendars show them as “Busy.” Here’s what we have already done to try to resolve the issue: Ensured that the option “Events on Office calendar affect availability” is enabled for all staff in Bookings. Verified that in Outlook, the staff calendars have appointments marked as “Busy” to reflect their availability. Shared staff calendars with the Bookings account and set default permissions to “When I’m busy” (we also changed “People in my organization” to “When I’m busy”). Checked that the booking page settings are set to respect staff availability. Despite these steps, the system still allows bookings to be made during times when staff are busy. Our staff mailboxes are hybrid (both on-premises and in Exchange Online), and we are running a hybrid setup in general. We are wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there are recommended solutions or workarounds. Thank you for any insights!30Views0likes0CommentsMax number of Guests that can be assigned as Staff
Hi, we are currently running into an issue with a Booking page, where we currently have 16 “staff” accounts; 3 of those are internal Staff with “Team Member” status. The rest are outside faculty with “Guest” status. The issue is it doesn't appear we are able to add any more "guests". It lets us go through the complete add process and submit with no error messages, but the new member never appears. Has anyone ever experienced this or no of a limit on the number of "guests" that can be added as staff? Thanks67Views0likes1CommentCreate a Booking Page not working
I created a personal booking page a couple months back, and had issues with it being created. Now I am trying to do it again but for a group of people, to no avail. I have tried creating a new bookings page with only me as the member ( I already have a personal bookings page) and still nothing works. I am hoping someone can give me a hand, this is very frustrating, considering last time the problem was also seemingly fixed without me doing anything, but it took a couple weeks. I have tried via Teams and Several web Browsers, and always get the same message: Cheers!166Views1like3CommentsStrange issues with Bookings page
Hi all, A few months ago I set up two bookings pages (eg Booking1 and Booking2) for a client. Each booking page has two services - Meeting in Person and Online Meeting. Lately we have been facing some strange issues. 1. Suddenly the two booking pages have the same name. Nobody has changed the page name, yet Booking1 changed to Booking2. 2. Recently the client changed the availability days from 8/1/2025 to 31/8/2025 to Not Available for booking. I checked and it was working fine, but today the availability days chenged to 7/16/2025 -7/21/2025 Not Available for Bookings. How is that possible? I have also noticed the whole booking system will sometimes throw errors and not work, but it fixes on refresh. What are all these issues? Is it a user's bad or is it the system? Thank you in advance.131Views0likes3CommentsHow to Disable Email Verification for Bookings
Hi everyone, I have a user experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings. When clients try to schedule an appointment using his booking link, they’re being prompted to enter a verification code, which is preventing them from completing the booking. I’ve already reviewed the settings under Admin Center > Org Settings > Bookings, and everything appears to be configured correctly. Is there another area I should check to disable this verification requirement?218Views0likes1CommentPersonal Booking Page not syncing with Outlook Calendar
Hi There! Outlook and Teams Calendar are synced with Apple's iCloud Calendar, but my personal booking page only shows as busy from Outlook calendar, so nothing from Apple Calendar is shown as busy, even though Outlook and Teams Calendar are both synced with Apple Calendar. Please help! :)63Views0likes0CommentsMissing some features?
I am attempting to send out a bookings link to multiple clients for upcoming events in another timezone. It seems like most of these features are available in Google Appointments, however I am hoping to do this via Bookings so they automatically populate in my calendar. - Is there a way on the Bookings program to create appointments at 2 hour intervals? I'm only seeing max 1-hour. - Is there a way to set the timezone for the appointment? I'm trying to schedule appointments for another timezone to where I'll be traveling. It's only allowing me to set times for my current timezone, I would like this to list in the timezone in which the appointment will be taking place. - Is there a way to book appointments for further out than 90 days? I am trying to schedule these for early July but it's giving me a max of 90 days lead time. This doesn't seem to be an issue with Google.136Views0likes1CommentAdd customer name to attendees list
Hello Microsoft Community, I recently stumbled upon what I think is a fundamental feature that seems to be missing from the Microsoft Booking App, and I would like to make a feature request. The scenario is pretty simple: When a booking is made, I would like the customer's name or email address to be visible in the attendees list. As of now, what is displayed are only the staff email and the booking email of the service. This, in my opinion, is a very basic and essential feature that could significantly enhance the user experience. Is there any workaround for this or plans to incorporate this feature in the near future? Any insights or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration! Kind regards, YossiSolved1.5KViews1like7CommentsTriggers for Cancellation and Rescheduling errors
Hi, Does anyone know what is the trigger for these two errors? Is it possible to customize when each of these messages show? This is the cancellation error message: And this is the rescheduling error message: My issue I have a 1:1 service, and I am testing it to see the behavior our customer will see when booking an appointment with us. This service can be served by a subset of my staff (T02 to T08). In the scenario shown below, I would expect that if a customer books an appointment between 18:00 and 20:00, the message that they receive is the rescheduling error message; however, it currently shows them the cancellation error message. This cancellation error message is a little misleading in this case, because the customer may think there is an issue with the system (browser / server / webpage, ...) and not that they need to try another time. So, probably they are going to send me an email ☹️. Is there any way to change that behavior from my tenant? or is this an overarching topic related to the app? I would really appreciate any help here. If I can change this message, then I can use MS Booking for my small restaurant, instead of paying for a subcription to Resmio (EUR 70/month), or OpenTable (USD 149/month).47Views0likes0CommentsHow to set multiple custom availability date ranges per staff member in Microsoft Bookings?
Hello, I’m trying to configure multiple different availability date ranges for individual staff members in Microsoft Bookings. Here’s the scenario: - **For the next 2 weeks:** Staff Member X should be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. - **For the following 2 weeks:** Staff Member X should be available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. - **Then for the next month:** They might only be available Monday and Thursday, etc. I found the “Custom availability by date range” option under **Booking page → Configure booking page → General availability**, but that appears to set a global schedule for the entire Bookings calendar, not for a specific staff member. When I go to **Staff → Edit Staff Member** in Bookings, I only see two options: - Use business hours - Use custom hours (which then applies indefinitely, not by date range) I’d like each staff member to have independent date ranges for their custom hours. For example, Staff Member X’s availability is totally different from Staff Member Y’s, and each can change after certain dates. **My questions are:** Is there a native way in Microsoft Bookings to define multiple date ranges with different weekly patterns for each staff member? 2. If multiple date ranges per staff member are possible, how do I enable it? Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!103Views1like0Comments
