always on vpn

Hi together I already saw other people with the error message: "Ike credentials are unacceptable". So I was already checking the certificates, I also changed from IKEv2 to SSTP to get an error message on the RAS Server that says no authentification method available. Somehow I also don't see log's from the RAS Server in the NPS, so I'm wondering what could be wrong there. The firewall in between is open - so nothing should be blocking. Maybe someone of you also made a experience in that direction and has an advice. Thank you. Chris726Views0likes0CommentsUpdate KB50146678 breaks VPN server
After updating our Windows Server 2022 with update KB50146678 it is having a lot of network issues. The server which is running RRAS and designed for Always On VPN, can't access the Internet and clients can't connect to the VPN. I had to do a bare mental restore from backup to get it back up and running. I then made a checkpoint since it is a VM and installed the update again which gave me the same issues. Therefore, I am sure the update is causing the problem. I restored to the checkpoint and paused updates for now but wanted to report this problem and see if there is a possible fix.2.4KViews1like6CommentsWindows 11 Always on VPN device tunnel removed on reboot
We are having an issue with the always on device tunnels being removed on device start. Once logged in to windows, we have to do a manual sync with Intune for it to restore the connection. When the connection is available it runs as it normally would and does appear to stay there, but as soon as you reboot it deletes itself. The VPN is deployed via intune, and is setup with machine certs connecting to a RRAS server running on 2019. Works fine on all of our windows 10 devices, and worked fine on our test device before upgrading to 11.13KViews1like14Comments
