Windows Server Backup - Not using all destination space
I administer a very small environment on the side. I am using Windows Server backup on a QNAP iSCSI target as the local destination with Azure as a cloud backup (immutable). The local backup is using 1336GB out of 1999GB, resulting in 18 copies. I am using Performance (VSS). Why isnt using more of the destination space? I am having trouble finding logs and such to look at.
Restore Full Server Backup on different server
Hi Team, We have Full Server Backup in place and would like to restore the same on different server. What are the pre-requisite to take into consideration before restoring full server backup on new server in terms of hardware or software? Do we need to make sure it matches the configuration of backup server like hard disk size and number of hard disk attached, OS version, Drivers installed, CPU or RAM configuration as per the backup server?
