Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) drag and drop files
In some situations, it is handy to drag and drop files from a local endpoint to for example AVD remote app. For example when using Outlook on the local endpoint and wanting to archive attachments in the ERP application (legacy app) hosted in a remote app. Copy and paste works but is not user-friendly in this situation.
Add USB passthrough for Remote Desktop app
As a mobile developer I work with both Mac and PC. I use Remote Desktop to connect to a devbox from my Mac for developing Android apps. It would be really nice to have USB pass through on Remote Desktop app so that I can debug from the workspace to the USB connected physical phone.
FSLogix - Set Outlook cached mode to specific number of days if the profile fails to attach
Add ability to set Outlook cache to a specific number of days if the profile fails to attach. Currently, FSLogix can set Outlook to online mode if the VHDx container fails to attach to the session. A new registry key to allow FSLogix set the sync period in Outlook and keep Outlook in cached mode. Right now we use the “Set Outlook cached mode on successful attach” but this is a simple on/off and in some of our sites Outlook is too slow when running in online only mode, it would be nice to be able to set the cache to 30/60/90 days or whatever on successful attach but leave the fallback position to be something like 3 days.
Remote Desktop Client: Save the windows position
In the current Remote Desktop Client and also in the preview of the Azure Virtual Desktop App, it is unfortunately not saved in which state, and at which position the user has closed the desktop session. Example: The session starts by default in Fullscreen, the user now switches to window mode and moves the window to the right of the screen. If the user ends the session or disconnects it and starts it again the session is back in fullscreen mode. With the RDP properties you can influence the window behaviour a little bit, but not in the way that the Remote Desktop Client simply "notices" how the session was ended. Every other Windows program remembers the way (maximized/fullscreen) and position where it was closed. Please change the behaviour to remember the position in window mode and whether the session ran in fullscreen or window.FSLogix - Add the ability to exclude specific files from ODFC containers
The ability to exclude specific files/directories from ODFC containers like we can with Profile containers. We’ve discovered some pretty severe bloat occurring (specifically the issue with %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Service Worker\Cache Storage) and the ability to exclude that from the ODFC container would save a huge amount of disk space when multiplied by our thousands of users.FSLogix - Make client more resilient to DNS name resolution failures
We have had a few incidents in our Production environment related to DNS which caused the FSLogix client to lose connection to Cloud Cache Providers. This led to issues with Office apps that depend on the container. Enhance FSLogix to better handle a loss of domain name resolution e.g. fall back to IP Address if DNS resolution fails?
Support for start menu integration for RemoteApps

FSLogix Cloud Cache Operational Event ID 81 "Storage has invalid local cache" is raised at Warning level Change Event 81 from a Warning level to an Informational level as the issue does not significantly impact users and monitoring systems are incorrectly identifying it as a cause for concern based on the current level
Multiple monitor issue after upgrade to 1.2.5105.0
I'm using Azure Virtual Desktop on my Windows 11 laptop with 2 additional monitors attached. I've configured my AVD connection to use the 2 additional monitors (2 and 3), so I could use my laptop screen for local actions. This works fine, until I upgraded to release 1.2.5105.0, because then, despite the configuration of using monitor 2 and 3, the laptop screen (1) and monitor 2 were used. The problem disappeared after a downgrade to a previous version
