Classification: TABS PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 5on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) At the moment, it is great that tabs can be moved to a new window, other windows in profile and other profiles. There is also an option to add tabs to groups. However, this only applies within the current window. It would be ideal to be able to move tabs to another group on a different window (but in the same profile).771Views0likes0CommentsOnly One Installed Theme Allowed?
I had the "Halo" theme previously installed from Edge Add-Ons and wanted to mess around with some more. I installed a [hideous]"High Contrast" theme from the Chrome Web Store, and the "Halo" theme disappeared from the appearance menu. Installing "Just Black" from Chrome then removed that "High Contrast" theme too. Is it really only possible to have one externally installed theme, whether from the Edge Add-Ons page or the Chrome Web Store? Granted, I have not used Chrome itself in ages, so I don't know if that's just a Chromium limitation, or if Edge itself only supports a single custom/paintbrush icon theme. I only switched back to Edge "Stable" because Edge Dev 93.0.910.5 is completely broken for me on YouTube and several other sites. Anyways, as far as I can remember [and as a comparison], Firefox will actually allow me to "install" multiple themes and not just apply them on the fly. I still have all of my older pre-Proton themes still showing up in my install of Firefox Nightly, albeit with limited functionality due to said Proton re-design. TL;DR Installing a new extension doesn't automatically uninstall the rest of them, themes should behave the same way lol.890Views0likes1CommentSuggestion: Enable Ctrl+Shift+T in InPrivate mode, same as in Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox
--Sorry I'm using Google Translate-- --Sorry if I posted in the wrong place-- It may seem like a silly feature, but it is quite useful. Example: When using a computer that is not ours (or not) and searching by opening several tabs (search results from Google, Bing, Youtube and others), sometimes we accidentally close a tab and do not remember which site or which link we click that it was closed. Here is an example gif in Internet Explorer: Here is an example gif in Firefox: In Firefox, you still have a history panel, even if you are in private browsing. A resource to consider.1.3KViews2likes0CommentsFeature Request: Install site as an app for multiple users
I've loved the "Install this site as an App" feature since it's IE equivalent, and use it quite a bit now that apps can just be Start Menu shortcuts rather than taking up space on the taskbar. I'd love the ability to create an Edge App that isn't specific to the user account though. We are moving away from having admin tools installed on IT Staff's individual desktops, and towards publishing them through an RDSH Farm. This works well for 'classic' applications or MMC tools, but more and more tools are becoming browser-based. Whilst I have MS Edge installed on the Session Hosts, and I can publish a shortcut to launch edge to a particular address, I'd like to be able to use the fully immersive "app" experience through the Farm too.1.1KViews0likes1Comment
