Skype for Business Mac
3 TopicsSkype for Business still in Location Services after uninstall
I had to use Skype for Business for a one-time conference call. After the call I uninstalled SfB application, but it still shows up in System Preferences --> Security & Privacy --> Privacy tab, the app still shows up in the Location Services section. How can I get that removed? I found the clean uninstall instructions at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/troubleshoot/server-install-or-uninstall/clean-uninstallation, but that did not help. I have also rebooted several times and understand that having it unchecked should prevent any location activity, but it should not be there at all. Any idea how can I get SfB completely removed from my system preferences?687Views0likes0CommentsCan't see Shared Content on Skype for Business on Mac Client during meetings after 1st meeting
Hi, I have Skype for Business on Mac Client version 16.27.32. I can see shared content on the first Skype meeting I joined only. After that, I can no longer see shared content from any meetings. I have no idea why this happens. I've tried to exit the app and relaunch, but it doesn't help. I've tried to log-out and log back on, it doesn't work. The only way I can see the content again is by completely rebooting the Mac! Again, after the reboot, I will be able to see the shared content for 1 meeting only. Any idea what is going on here? Any ideas on how to fix? I'm on MacOS 10.14.5. System is 13" Macbook Pro. Many thanks in advance! George1.7KViews0likes2CommentsMac Outlook integration - Cannot Schedule Online Meeting
When we click on the Online Meeting button to have a Skype meeting created for a calendar event we always receive this message: Cannot Schedule Online Meeting You cannot schedule this online meeting because there might be issues with your sign in account. Make sure you are signed in to the same you use for Microsoft Outlook. If the problem continues, contact your System Administrator. We are signed in to the same account. Clicking on the meetings tab in Skype for Business pulls our meeting invites and offers join buttons. Clicking on a chat or call contact returns their Exchange / Office 365 contact details. Every bit of integration between the two works, except the ability to create a Skype meeting. Signing into the same account on a Windows client works perfectly fine, clicking the Skype Meeting button in outlook populates the meeting details. So does login to the Office 365 web interface to create Skype meetings. This was first seen (first mac client) a few months ago. There's been two updates since then and no fix. I just built a brand new macbook from scratch yesterday, installed client 10.16.97 and this problem exists on the brand new node.13KViews0likes11Comments
