SFBO

Hey Guys, Regarding Skype for Business Online, On-Prem and Hybrid. Are the following services not available by default when using SFBO (all by itself) ? or do the limitations only come into play in a Hybrid Scenario? Enhanced 9-1-1, the service used for making emergency phone calls. Call parking, the service that enables users to place a call on hold phone A, then retrieve that call from phone B. Media bypass, which enables calls to and from the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to bypass the Mediation server, helping to minimize transcoding and network latency. PSTN conferencing dial-in and dial-out, which enables users to participate in the audio portion of an online conference by using any PSTN telephone or mobile device. From this link here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/get-cstenanthybridconfiguration?view=skype-ps It would seem to me that users homed online, have a much more limited feature set than users homed in SFB on Prem? I am hoping someone who has worked with SFBO Hybrid/On-Prem can assist and kinda of explain how this all might work. Thanks, Robert1.3KViews0likes1CommentSkype for meeting broadcast. Office 365. Blocking all domains?
Hey Guys, Going through some documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/set-up-your-network-for-skype-meeting-broadcast/set-up-your-network-for-skype-meeting-broadcast In this documentation its saying to block all domains except for the these 4: noammeetings.lync.com emeameetings.lync.com apacmeetings.lync.com resources.lync.com My quesiton is if you block all domains except those for Skype for meeting broadcast, wouldnt that break all other external communications? And why do you have to block any domains, or add the above domains? Couldnt you just allow the broadcast meetings to run with the default domains in place (assuming all domains are allowed). ? I am having issues enabling MFA for our SFBO users. Once Azure MFA is enabled, we cannot sign into SFBO on our mobile devices or laptops unless we are on our trusted network. We are currently running SFBO in Hybrid mode because our voice service is 3rd party hosted and Modern Authentictaion is enabled. I understand that there is a technet article that states this is not supported yet, but I created a conditional policy that would not require MFA on trusted or compliant devices. Even though this policy is in place, it still does not work. Any ideas784Views0likes0Comments
