Finding My Path: Reflections and Revelations from ESPC 2023
👋🏾Hi, my name is Gabby Williams and I am a Microsoft Student Ambassador out of Maryland, USA. I am a high school junior at Atholton High and also taking college courses at Howard Community College focusing on Business Administration and Cyber Security. I had the opportunity to speak at this years ESPC (European SharePoint and Azure Conference)A student’s first international public speaking experience at ESPC22
I have never been the type of student that would be excited to present my project to a class. However, being able to share the stage with my dad at the European SharePoint and Azure (ESPC) Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, in November 30th 2022 altered my perspective and made me feel more comfortable to speak and inform large groups of people. This was my 1st time speaking in front of an adult audience, and my 1st time speaking on such a deeply technical topic. At the end of the 50 minute session, the session attendees provided great feedback around the content and my delivery, the rapport we had as co presenters, and encouraged me to continue. I'm excited to share with you what we covered and how the session went below. For our session “Microsoft Graph Development with the Python SDK”, after registering our application in Azure Active Directory we used both VS Code and Jupyter Notebooks to get access to the Microsoft 365 data and did some pretty cool and exciting art of the possible scenarios.
