13 TopicsChanging ownership/adding owner for multiple videos?
In my team we have created and uploaded 150+ videos and each time we always have assigned our Office 365 Group ownership of the videos to make sure that we all have access to the videos, in case something needs to be changed/removed if someone quits etc, to make sure that we all have access to them. Now, we will be making changes for our team with that we are going to work using a different Office 365 Group. Is it possible to re-assign ownership of all the videos in the existing Office 365 Group? Or in some way mark multiple videos at once and add another O365 Group as owner? It would be extremely time consuming having to go into each video and re-assign ownership for each individual video!Share Stream Channel Externally via SharePoint site?
Hello all, I know that as of 9/2020 we are able to share individual videos externally, which is great! However, I was wondering if it's possible to embed a channel into a SharePoint site? We have a virtual preschool site that we have invited parents to join, and it'd be wonderful if we could just embed/share the channel with them that way. It would spare the the hassle of embedding new videos every week (or however often they add videos, it varies). Thanks in advance!SolvedRolling out new Stream on SharePoint features for education
Today, May the Fourth and Teacher Appreciation Day, we provided a look ahead at key Microsoft Stream (built on SharePoint) features coming in the July-September 2021 timeframe in a new blog post at https://aka.ms/StreamEduBTS2021. The upcoming features, which generally fall into the areas of accessibility, security, and playback, are critical for education and other organization types around the world. The Stream blog post is just part of a much larger set of Microsoft Education announcements today, which include at least 68 new learning-focused capabilities across the Microsoft 365 suite. We're having a strange issue with permissions in Stream in our institution and hoping for some guidance. Maybe it's user error. We have a user who wants to create a channel that only a specific group/Team has access to. She created the channel, uploaded a video, and turned off "Allow everyone in your company to view this video." She instead changed the permissions to include only a specific channel on her Team. The Team can see the channel, but the video is not showing up for those users, even though they are on the channel within the Team that is supposed to have access to that video. Hopefully it's user error, but none of us can figure it out. Would really appreciate some help.Permissions in videos
Hi Team. An user in Stream post a new video, unchek option for show video in all organization, only permissions for a group and the permissions is show, not owner. Group users can view video in Stream, but they also have the option to delete to video. How can I configure permissions so that users cannot delete video? Regards,Solved"Display" Option for Adding Video to Stream Group
Hello all! My school district is utilizing Office365 and I am building a professional development "on demand" Stream channel. I have uploaded roughly 20 videos through my individual (work) Stream account but I'd like to have those videos show up in my group's account (PFLN-InstructionalCoaches) so that other members of my team can access/edit the videos without having to add each team member individually to each video. It will also ensure new members can edit when the group grows. When I go to "Permissions" within the videos I have already uploaded to my individual account, I can add the group as an "Owner" of the video. Yet, the video still does not show up in the group. When I changed the Permissions to add the group as an Owner, I noticed there is a "Display" option next to "Owner", which I cannot check for the videos I uploaded to my individual account. It seems I need to have that option checked to have the video appear in the group (see photo below). When I upload a video through the group, I see the check mark appear under Display. How can I get the videos I have already uploaded through my individual Stream account to appear in the group videos without re-uploading all of the videos? (I do not want to re-upload all the videos through the group because I have linked the Stream videos to numerous places and do not want to break those links). On a related note, what is the point of making a group the Owner of a video if it does not appear anywhere in the group? Thank you in advance for any insight you can provide! In the picture, both my personal account (original upload) and the group have "Owner" checked but I cannot check "Display" for the group:Stream Classic Containers and Permissions
We are in the early stages of planning to migrate videos from Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint). One of the Groups we have has a total of 250+ videos. 75 videos are in the group container, while 175 videos are in different user containers. What is the best way to get all of those videos in the group container to have them migrate together? Any tips, insights, and ideas are appreciated!Issues in accessing MS Streams video
Hi everyone, It would be great if someone could provide solution to the below query. We are hosting several training sessions over MS teams where the session is being recorded so that the participants who were not able to join the live session can watch the recording later. But we are facing the issue that participants who didn't join the live session are not able to access the recordings and video owner has to give access to each person separately. Can you please suggest something to fix this issue or some workaround so that everyone who was invited in training session can access the recording regardless of if they had participated in the live session or not. Thanks,That video couldn't be found.
I have recorded meetings in Teams which I have downloaded and manually uploaded to Stream. The videos have processed successfully and been published - I can watch them back in full in Stream with all features (transcripts etc). However, when I click on the 'Share' feature and select 'Embed' I get a "That video couldn't be found." error. The same error appears when I embed these videos into a Sharepoint site and I try to watch them back. BUT - when other users access the same Sharepoint pages, they CAN watch the videos back. It seems like me (the owner of the videos and the Sharepoint pages) is the only person who gets the error. Any advice on why this might be happening?
