You can now open History page faster

I can highlight a piece of text and search for it in the sidebar, but the moment I click on a link in sidebar, it opens a new tab! this the opposite of what I expect and want. I want to search for something in sidebar and keep using the sidebar to complete my search. the whole idea is not to leave your current tab and do your search, right? but with this behavior, the user is interrupted and taken to a different tab. another option I see missing is to right-click on a link and open it in sidebar. last thing, make the sidebar panel resizable
New Tab search UI (Ctrl + Shift + A) has changed - how to revert to previous behavior ?
Since the latest Microsoft Edge update, the Tab Search panel opened with Ctrl + Shift + A has changed. It now opens on the side instead of the center, and arrow key navigation no longer works. Only Tab navigation works now. this makes it much harder to use quickly. Is there any way to restore the previous centered Tab Search UI, or re-enable up and down arrow navigation, or undo this specific UI change ? The old version worked perfectly for my workflow. The new version slows everything down. Thanks Michael
