Booking page - adding a user as Administrator then changes to Guest!
Hello. When I try adding a specific internal user to my booking page as an administrator, it soon changes to a guest! They have OWA enabled and business premium license assigned. For the life of me, I don't understand why this happens. See screenshots to understand the issue better. The user then receives an email suggesting they only have guest access. Please help
Setting up 2 of 6 staff members for a service
I have a team of 6 staff members and we need to set up a booking such it assigns for any 2 of the 6 members to be available in order to set a meeting. I don't feel like this functionality is available in Bookings but wondering if there may be a workaround anyone is familiar with?
O365 Bookings : Notes missing from calendar event
When a user in my org schedules a meeting using a Bookings page link and enters notes in the "Notes" field, those notes are not being populated in the calendar event for the calendar owner. This appears to only happen tosomerequesters as other meetings do have their notes populate. We also verified that the notes were missing when reviewing the meeting in Outlook Online.
Customize Microsoft Bookings embedded Booking page with specific css styles
Hello, I am currently integrating a Microsoft Bookings page into a WordPress page using an iFrame and the Microsoft Bookings embed code. I am trying to change a couple things: Force a word wrap (we have a questionnaire built into our booking page, and one of the questions is a little lengthly, and the text just runs right off the frame). I have identified the specific class I need to change using browser inspect tool and can modify it there, but when I modify that class in the custom css in wordpress is does nothing. I've tried copying the full selector from inspect too as well. Class needing changing: .WpLer, I want to change the white-space: nowrap to white-space: normal. owa.BookingsC2Boot.css is the style sheet it's referencing. Change max-width (the Microsoft Bookings app max width is less than my page inner max width, leaving unnecessary spacing on either side of the booking form. Again, can change this in browser inspect but not in Wordpress custom css. Class needing changing: .Qkr3P, I want to change to max-width: 1024px to max-width: 1250px. Is there any way to override these settings?? Thanks. Andrea
Can I change the language of the confirmation email?
Hi, I've set up two different booking pages for a service. One is in Dutch, the other one in French. This way we can give the customer a complete booking page in their language of choice. However I found out the confirmation email send out for the French booking service is in Dutch. Even when send to a French customer. Can I change this language? How does Booking decide which language to use? Can I change the flow that sends out the message (and where can I find it)? thanks!Unable to Create Shared booking.
I have a user that unable to create a shared booking page. Every time he tried he got this error msg attachedCapture. PNG. Booking is enabled organization-wide and I made sure that the user has booking app license enabled in the admin center. Other users can create shared bookings. We tried other web browsers but still the same error msg. Tried a different computer, and again got the same error. Turned off booking at the license level and turned it back on. Have tested this a few times now for sanity sake. I am writing entries to a SharePoint list using the MS Booking 'ID' field as primary key via Power Automate. When using the 'when an appointment is updated' trigger to update items in the list per changes to the appointment in Bookings, it is impossible to match the item being updated to the entry in SharePoint because the IDs do not match - 'when an appointment is updated' generates a new ID with every call.SelfServiceAppointmentId does not have this problem but we do not use the self service booking option and cannot due to our workflow requirements. Is this by design? Shouldn't there be a persistent ID associatedwith the bookings made in calendar/backend? Anonymizing usernames in MS Bookings meetings
Hello, I am working on the project for our customer. They asked me to prepare an interactive booking portal for their employees, which could allow them set-up the meeting with our IT specialists. I used MS Bookings for this case and created the template for the calendars' bookings. Now our goal is to anonimize our usernames in the meeting rooms in Teams. What I would like to achive is to hide all IT specialists names for external customers during the meetings. I'd like to have all of these 5 guys with 5 separate calendars (on their own M365 accounts) and let them join to the meeting but hide their real name and surname. Is it somehow possible for specific users? If not - could it be the best way if I create 5 new M365 accounts for them and they would log into the accounts named for example 'Employee#1' and use this account/calendar for the meetings? I am looking for the best and easiest solution 😉 If you have any other ideas - please, dont hesitate to let me know 🙂 BR TechSFL
Is there a URL modification to allow for a specific staff member's schedule to be shown?
I am trying to use Bookings for my school's teacher interviews. I want to place all my staff in my staff list for a booking, and then put the booking code on every teacher's individual page, but with specifically their schedule on there. Ideally, I guess, Iwanted to see if there is something I can add to the end of the URL that identifies the staff member so I can just do something like: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/StBenedictCSSWCDSB@wcdsbca.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/?staff=[staff_identifier] I'm afraid that if I leave the code as is with multiple staff with the "Allow customers to choose a specific person for the booking" some people may forget to select, or may select the wrong person....?
