I am hearing that a customer currently on the old legacy CSP terms will be now forced into NCE terms at the renewal if that happens on or after July 1 2023. Can you provide guidance on and if legacy contracts currently enforce will be forced to NCE or will clients maintain the option to stay on legacy terms for the upcoming renewal? The NCE Playbook of course only defines what is current, which is that they can renew on legacy termsSolved7.7KViews0likes29CommentsRenewing our Legacy Gold Benefits
Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, currently having a "Legacy Gold Benefits" membership status expiring on early April 2024. Following few Inspire 2023 sessions around the extension of Legacy benefits, we would like to ask you if there are any official announcement that we will be able to renew our Legacy Gold benefits for at least one more year, prior switching to Specialization. It is really critical strategic decison for us and we must have a concrete view on this. Kindly let me know if more details required from my end to help you reply our query. Thank you in advance for your significant input. Best regards, NickSolved6.3KViews0likes8CommentsIs it possible to confirm a new client is on NCE or Legacy?
Is there a way to confirm if a new client currently has legacy or NCE subscriptions in their admin portal by viewing the "Your Products" page or some other page? I know that the subscription ID is given in the address bar when you click on each product. I also know that renewal and billing information is provided when you click on each product. But I am looking for a definitive way to tell what type of subscription the client has.Solved5.1KViews0likes11CommentsNCE Tenant Migration mid-term - is it possible?
Hello everyone, we have a specific situation with an existing customer - they are "splitting up" their existing company into 2 legal entities. The "old" one will remain on the existing tenant but will abandon D365, and the "new" one will be in a completely new tenant that they wish to migrate their existing D365 NCE licenses to. I'm not optimistic this is doable, but wanted to check just in case. (They have 2 existing yearly subscriptions, one renewing on 09/08/2023 and the other one onSolved4.8KViews0likes9CommentsOffice 365 E3 EEA and Teams Essentials
Hi, Is it compliant to buy 400 * Office 365 E3 EEA seats and combine it with 300 * Teams Essentials seats and 100 * Teams EEA seats, so you have two different Teams licenses for the E3 EEA license? Also, are you able to upgrade Teams Essentials to Teams EEA? Thanks in advance.3.9KViews0likes1CommentTransferring Business Premium Licenses Between Partners
My understanding is that NCE imposes a strict limit of 300 Business SKU's per tenancy. If we are transferring from a different CSP partner to ours we normally purchase the licenses first and then ask the other partner to cancel. If we wish to transfer 290 Business Premium licenses then I presume that this process won't work?3.9KViews1like8CommentsAzure Spending (NCE) tab does not show all clients with Azure Spend
I could very well be missing something obvious, but recently, there was a change to the Azure Spending (NCE) tab. It now only shows clients that have a Budget set in the CSP portal for a client. This can be easily replicated by deleting the budget amount from a client and it disappears from the Azure Spending (NCE) tab. Even if the client has thousands in monthly spend, they do not show up. No budget = No Alert if an Azure Sub is compromised = Partner pays for the resource spend themselves. When I created a case through Partner Center, I was told to go through all of our clients manually and set a budget and to constantly keep checking to see if new Subscriptions had been added, or I could check each client one by one using the Cost Management screen under each Subscription. This would be fine if we only had a few clients, but at over 5000 entries, this is not an acceptable workaround. Is there some way of downloading an Azure Spend report that shows ALL clients and not just ones that already have a Budget set? Thank you.3.8KViews1like7CommentsChanges in Enterprise licenses (not Teams SKUs) from October 1st in CSP
Hi All, May be licensing Team from Microsoft can clarify. As all of us know- there will be no Teams in Enterprise plans starting October 1st. According to Microsoft information- customers currently using "old" plans (with Teams included) can continue with them. My question is related to CSP case, when customer is changing partner after October 1st. Lets say that customer has Office 365 E3 (with Teams) subscription from partner A. Customer want to move to partner B. Will partner B be able to open new subscription with Teams after October 1st? I believe that message articulate clearly that this is "customer right" to choose after October 1st. But is this situation as described already implemented in Partner Center?3.8KViews0likes17CommentsDynamics 365 Operations - Order Lines licenses cannot be activated.
Hi Team, Unfortunately, we cannot activate Dynamics 365 Operations - Order Lines licenses via the Partner Center. According to the price list the licenses should be available. I have also searched for the product id but without success. Do you have an answer for me?3.4KViews2likes18Comments
