Hi, I have noticed my child normally could not use InPrivate mode in Edge (in Android), but apparently he can browse InPrivate after closing his user session on Edge. Other browsers are blocked, but there is a way to prevent him using InPrivate mode (not allowing him to close his user session)?328Views0likes0CommentsAbility to disable cookie sharing with InPrivate browsing
It would be fantastic if we could add an option to disable cookie sharing between different InPrivate windows and/or tabs. I use multiple admin accounts and currently have to use InPrivate across multiple browsers today since cookies are shared within an InPrivate session. If we provided a setting to disable this behavior then I could use a single browser moving forward. This is a common problem with all browsers today and not just Edge. This feature would set Edge apart from all the other browsers on the market and very convenient for admins.4.6KViews4likes9CommentsSuggestion: Enable Ctrl+Shift+T in InPrivate mode, same as in Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox
--Sorry I'm using Google Translate-- --Sorry if I posted in the wrong place-- It may seem like a silly feature, but it is quite useful. Example: When using a computer that is not ours (or not) and searching by opening several tabs (search results from Google, Bing, Youtube and others), sometimes we accidentally close a tab and do not remember which site or which link we click that it was closed. Here is an example gif in Internet Explorer: Here is an example gif in Firefox: In Firefox, you still have a history panel, even if you are in private browsing. A resource to consider.1.3KViews2likes0CommentsAmbient Authentication has been added to Edge for InPrivate and Guest sessions

This flag may be overriden by policies. – Mac, Windows #enable-ambient-authentication-in-guest-session If I'm right, it's supposed to facilitate sign-ins while in InPrivate mode or browsing in Guest session. trying to sign in to my Microsoft account or Office 365 account in either of those modes, I didn't notice any difference. so any further info about these flags and how they exactly work is appreciated, thank youSolved18KViews0likes2CommentsInprivate mode seriously needs to have brought back the blue icon in the top left corner
One thing that the new edge is lacking and seriously needs to bring back that internet explorer and the old edge had was that in the top left corner an inprivate icon to indicate you're using inprivate browsing. The current inprivate mode looks too chrome like and is easy to mistake it for chrome. With the blue inprivate icon in the top left corner, it would give edge a sense of uniqueness from chrome and it was in both the old edge and internet explorer, it worked perfectly then and there really is no reason to not bring it back. Looking at a side by side comparison, the browser looked better when it had the blue inprivate icon when you were using inprivate mode3.8KViews16likes7Comments
