I migrated from Small Business server 2008 to 2019 and read that I could setup the system to be a Host and VM using Hyper-V. The host keeps turning off and I found an error in the logs telling me that "The Non-domain Member Check policy detected a condition in your environment that is out of compliance with the licensing policy. This server can only be in a workgroup or be a domain controller." Do I need to remove the host from AD?1KViews0likes1CommentDecommissioning Essentials 2012 server, replacing with 2022 - final steps before remove old AD role?
Hi folks, Had another post on this where SYSVOL and NETLOGON weren't working.. figured it out.. I confirmed DFS was definitely in use. I've migrated the FSMO roles to the new server. I've updated the PDC emulator to the new server. I removed the certificate service (as I understand it's not needed given I'm not using all the web fluff of old Essentials, and new one doesn't have it) - but I did back it up. Is there anything else I need to do? ... or just remove the AD role on the old server?975Views0likes6CommentsError in integrating Office 365 with Windows Server 2016 Essentials.
Error in Office 365 Intrusion with Windows Server 2016 Essentials. Already try everything, put the VM in Azure too, but always the error. I would already forget, there is also this bug, which changes into a language I have never seen.789Views0likes0Comments
