Error reporting
3 TopicsFlickering, Black Screen, Taskbar, YouTube Bugs and more at my new Spectre X360 13"
Three months ago I purchased the HP Spectre X360 13" , i7 , 16gb RAM, 512 SSD and since then I have been experiencing some certain screen bugs, especially when the laptop stays on for several hours. 1) Flickering, Black Screen, Freeze and Breaking: It always starts with intense flickering and cracking of the screen (i.e. distorted letters and numbers), then the screen freezes for seconds and the display gets filled with horizontal lines of the headers of the current open windows. As I move the cursor this becomes more and more frequent, while when I use two fingers on the mousepad the screen turns black. 2) No Taskbar: Another thing that I have experienced in the past is the headers of the current open windows to appear both on the top and at the bottom of the screen replacing the window's task bar, which also happens for some seconds. 3) YouTube Bugs: While viewing some videos on YouTube I have experienced a) The video image "running" to the left of the screen like it has been on a spinning wheel. b) When shifting to full-screen mode the video image remaining at small size, c) half the video image being on display as if it could not load the whole picture1.4KViews0likes0CommentsWAC 2103.02 - Storage Migration Service Error Logs
Running a migration service and tried all the suggested corrections to obtain the error logs -- increased the processing time to 10 minutes validated all the SMB services are active etc. The error log still 'errors' out - I can download User/Group logs with no issue. Anyone got an idea of what / where to start digging into the next?904Views0likes0CommentsQuestion regarding the Feedback Hub
I have noticed what appears to be an abandonment of the feedback hub from Microsoft Development's side. I have submitted several items/problems/suggestions over the last year, and have yet to get any response at all. In addition, browsing other feedback reveals a similar pattern with all feedback posted. Has MS abandoned Feedback Hub? Is it depreciated, or is it simply a matter of lack of resources? I can understand have a massive backlog, looming deadlines, and the lack of need in finding more to add to the workload. However, if we are to continue to be active members in a testing community, we need to know where and how to provide feedback. It behooves us and MS to understand the most effective and productive ways to communicate.Solved1.2KViews0likes3Comments
