The Stream blog post is just part of a much larger set of Microsoft Education announcements today, which include at least 68 new learning-focused capabilities across the Microsoft 365 suite. Since the storage location for meeting recordings changed in November, users in our tenant are experiencing issues with Stream creating duplicate recordings of Teams meetings both for scheduled standard and channel meetings. Any idea why this might be happening? A '1' gets appended to the duplicate recording, but this appears to usually be the one linked to the post in the meeting/channel chat where the recording is made available to attendees. See example below:Streams Video 0% Preparing
I filmed a video through the streams 'create' option at around 1pm today. I clicked through to press upload like normal and it is stuck on0% preparing. It has been like this for 6 hours. I don't want to lose the video. I can't click download, it is greyed out. The video doesn't appear in my feed either! Is there anything I can do? Or do I just bite the bullet and redo the video?May-day - Image appears with 1/1,5 second delay
Hi all! I'm recording a video about 9/10 minutes length. I tried three times and always end up in the same situation. Video is recorded (never paused). When in the form "Review recording" the video is fine, perfect match between voice and images. The video is then uploaded to Stream. In the "Upload to Stream" form the video is still fine, perfect match between voice and images. The video is the published. Once the recording is ready if I run the video, images arrive with 1/1,5 sec of delay. In addition greeting at the beginning of the video (2 sec) are no more available (cut). The video is perfect if watched with another software. Also tried the following: downloaded, run and is fine, uploaded, run and is not fine. I don't know what to do, please help!Videos recorded in Teams Meeting cause multiple uploads of the same recording
Some of our teachers have made recordings using Teams Meeting, which automatically upload to Stream. When they check their progress, they see 5 or more uploads of the same file in progress. The uploads eventually fail. In some cases, a working copy of the file still gets uploaded and all is not lost. I have another teacher who made several recordings yesterday and it looks like his recordings may never show up. Does anyone know what we can do to remedy this?
