Compare Edge browser versions
Hello all! I would like to compare Edge browser versions 87 and 88. Where can I find the documentation for updates or bug fixes made to the browser? This is in connection with the issue with our extension which we experienced in ver. 87 but is now fixed in ver. 88. I would like to know what specific change in ver. 88 fixed our issue with our extension. Thanks for answering!Suggestion: option to run or open downloaded files
From the time I have installed Microsoft Edge Chromium,I have to compulsorily save files when it is downloaded from the internet and not to just run or open it which were the options given in IE and Edge Legacy, because of that I have to delete the file after it was opened. It is a suggestion that option to run or open files is added in Edge Chromium. Hi, On the old Microsoft Edge, there was a 4GB size file limit for uploading files. I tried to upload large file on the Chromium Edge, and now it works. From which version this limitation canceled? I want to add a note to my product from which Edge version I support (and need the upload large files no-limit). Thanks.

Are there plans to enable touch screen compatibility in the Windows version of Chromium Edge? Specifically: Fix press-and-hold right-click bugs Pressing and holding in page content doesn't currently trigger the square to indicate when a right-click has been activated Pressing and holding in the toolbar triggers the square to indicate a right-click, but it doesn't go away Ability to reorder toolbar items (favorites and extensions) with touch Ability to drag text (into a new tab, into text boxes, or into Collections) with touch Modify controls that appear only on hover (e.g. selection tool in Collections and delete button on autofill items) so that they appear all the time so they can be selected with touch (a workaround for the Collections issue to make a "select" button to show the select buttons) Fix text selection behavior to match that of the Windows system and other Windows apps (where tapping a word only once will select it, instead of the current behavior where you have to press and hold and it also shows the right-click menu) for consistency and improved user experience Classic Edge was great for touch screens, and it's a shame to see that there has been no improvement whatsoever in this area for Chromium Edge.
Sharepoint online - local intranet site
Hello, My company would like to use a page from our head offices sharepoint site as our home page (intranet) when they open Edge Chromium (Version 85.0.564.68 (Official build) (64-bit)). For example: Head office: https://ContosoGroup.sharepoint.com Our divisional page: https://ContosoGroup.sharepoint.com/sites/Div-landing The users were getting prompted to enter their U&P at sign in. So I added: *.sharepoint.com To the Local Intranet websites and auto logon with the users U&P via a Zone Mappings GPO. Now when users logon they can get to head offices website with any prompt (and then our page if they follow the url). But if they open Edge and and go directly to our page (sites/Div-landing) it propts for credentials: From what I undertand I dont need to add the untire url to the zone mapping. I've also tested with trusted zone with the same issue. Could this be an issue with the page on sharepoint we've made?Being able to hide the "unsecured site" bar on an Edge installed application
Hello, Could you add an option in the browser to be able to hide the unsecured site (the green box on the screenshot) bar when installing a site as an application? As per reports Microsoft's Edge Legacy browser is going away by 2021 and will be replaced with Chromium based browser, I would like to get an update on Edge Chromium for Xbox One. Since their Browsers in Microsoft's ecosystem will be replaced with Chromium based browser, what about Edge for Xbox One? Or is it impossible for the Microsoft team to port it into UWP or don't want to give heeds? People have been requesting this from long time in Xboxinsider Reddit forum and here but no luck with straight answers!
