System Center 2022 Update Rollup 1 is here
We are glad to announce the release of the first Update Rollup for System Center 2022. Last April, we released System Center 2022 and this Update Rollup brings in additional set of new capabilities, performance improvements and hybrid features. This release includes the much-awaited support for SQL server 2022 and Azure Stack HCI 22H2.System Center 2019 Update Rollup 4
We are back to announce the release of Update Rollup 4 (UR4) for System Center 2019! This update rollup includes critical bug fixes, deployment blockers and UI improvements in System Center components (SCOM, VMM, DPM and SM). Let’s dig into each of these aspects below.

System Center Data Protection Manager offers enterprise grade backup and recovery of critical workloads. We are excited to announce the release of Update Rollup 2 for System Center 2019 Data Protection Manager. This update rollup includes new features, critical bugs fixes and removes deployment blockers. Also, we announced the release of System Center Data Protection Manager UR 10! The update rollup has been republished with the fix for this issue. To resolve the issue, install the update again by downloading it manually and restart the DPM server. New installs will be unaffected.
Update Rollup 9 (UR9) for System Center 2016 is released!
System Center team at Microsoft is excited to announce the release of UR9 (Update Release 9) version for System Center 2016. This release contains some new features and key bug fixes in Data Protection Manager (DPM), Operations Manager (SCOM), Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) and Service Manager (SM) modules. As part of our commitment to help System Center customers better manage and modernize their data center environments, we have been releasing new System Center update versions with new features and bug fixes once every 6 months. The next update release for System Center 2016 will be UR10 and is expected to come out in another 6 months. Customers upgrading to UR9 for System Center 2016 will get benefitted by new features, bug fixes and performance improvements in different System Center modules as mentioned below 1) Data Protection Manager (DPM) Key bugs fixed In some scenarios, pruning job failures leading to storage bloat. Feature Improvements An additional layer of authentication is added for critical operations. User will be prompted to enter a security PIN to perform “Stop Protection” with “Delete data” operations. This issue has been fixed in UR9 release. New Features Enabled support for MSOLEDBSQL driver so that users may move from SQL Server Native Client.
