This week, I have been working on a support case where our client experienced a 5-second delay in database connectivity. They were measuring this using StopWatch. As they informed me, they were launching a series of processes, 50-100 concurrent processes to be precise. I would like to share the experience gained in understanding the reasons behind this 5-second delay.
