Windows Update not working on Windows Server 2016
Hi everyone, I have a server with Windows Server 2016: For some reason, I cant update Windows, it get freezer with "Preparing to install updates 0%" message. The server is connected to internet and i can navigate without problems. Since 2018 this server is not updated. Someone knows how i can fix this? If Windows Update doesn't works, i can download the updates from a web? Thanks!
Windows Server 2016 Core Setup
Setting up a test environment with Windows 2016 Core. This is on a Hyper-V host and using the current Windows 2016 ISO to install. After the installation, going to login on the command line on the server and it says that the administrator password has to be changed prior to logging in. It then presents two lines: New Password: Confirm Password: I know that I can use Down arrow to go between them. I am not using the Number Keypad, only the numbers above the letters on the keyboard. I have typed several times, various passwords in length and complexity from 6 characters to 12. I keep getting that the password does not conform to complexity, length, or history and it will not change. Yes, I know the 4 types: UPPER, lower, numbers, and special characters. Used it all and in various combos. Still nothing helps. This is the first time with Core, so any help on this would be appreciated.
