New Teams / Meeting addin missing on Windows Server 2019 RDSH / Autostart Issue
Dear Community, dear Microsoft Pros, We are currently struggling with getting the New Teams running smoothly on our RDSHs. It was already a painful experience to remove the old Teams and install the New Teams there. But now the addins are missing completely - the presence addin everywhere (also on the Win10/11 clients, but this is another story), and the meeting addin on the RDSHs. We managed to find out, the addin installer is embedded as an MSI in the original New Teams installer and resides in the WindowsApps folder. We think, this installer will run in user context, so this is trouble because the users are not allowed to install MSI. Ultimately, we can only achieve a complete installation including the plugin on an administrator account. All normal users will not get the plugin installed. Also, the new teams is still struggling to update on several user accounts and starting on user logon. I guess this needs to be fixed by Microsoft - especially in the light of the fact that the classic teams will be shut down at the end of the month. Meanwhile I'm looking for workarounds to get the addin running, because our colleagues rely on it. Unable to add people to speed dial list
Hi , I have a user who is currently having issue with his speed dial in Microsoft teams. New Teams on Mac Book - Video background is grey and freezes
With the new version of teams im experiencing camera freezes and a grey background. Im using Teams on a Mac Book Air. This problem with the camera is not there in other applications or in the old version of Teams. I've reinstalled the application, added another WebCam and checked the permissions for camera use, but nothing seems to help. Does anybody know how to fix this?Teams choose wrong organization
Hello Since I started using the new Teams, my main organization is no longer displayed. When I log out and log in again, I am briefly logged in to my main organization, but after a few minutes teams switches back to an organization in which i am registered as a guest its always the same organization. It's also strange that this only happens on my workstation at work. On my private workstation at home and on my cell phone, everything is fine and works as it should. If I leave the guest team, everything is fine again. But that can't be the solution, because i'm in contact with a support team via the teams. we exchange data there, have shared notebooks and pending tasks are tracked there. I'm using Teams-Version 24033.811.2738.2546 with clientversion 49/24021528615 I have already tested resetting teams as described here (https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache)but that didn't help. Recantly MS forces to migrate to the new teams desktop. I switched to it. I must work with two organizations. In clasic teams desktop, i could have see and switch between organiations. But in NEW Teams it is not possible. And only one organizations is showen. I don't know how it decides to show which organization. It is impossible to use New Teams. On the other hand, Teams Web can show both of my organizations. And i can switch between them. Teams Web is working but New Teams desktop is NOT working. I tried to delete all cache, uninstall all teams instances etc... i spent lots of time. I am spending extra time to overcome Teams problems. I am not sure why you released it with such bugs.Unable to use my another account as From address to send a Teams invite
I work with two accounts on Teams, schedule meetings using both accounts. Surprisingly when I select the first account to schedule a meeting, MS Office chose the second one but the link to teams meeting attached is of the first account. Issue depicted below. I'm unable to change the From address to 1. Please help. Regards, Naveen
Guest accounts are not shown in new Teams app
Users join as a guest users to an external organization. Guest account are not shown in new Teams app. Accounts are shown in Teams Classic and in teams.microsoft.com. For some users guest accounts are shown only in teams.microsoft.com. We have tried to clear cache files https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache and reinstall Teams but the problem remains. Looks like this problem occurs on computers with Windows 10 installed years ago. With newer installation there has not been any problems.
