RDS Licensing already in used

Hai All,

I would like to ask and find the solution where our RDS License is already in used.

so the background is that we are experienced the ransom attack that windows server with RDS License installed is also hit. so we need to reinstall the windows server and reactivate the RDS License. but when we try to activate it. it said RDS Licensing is already in used.

any idea how I can use my RDS LIcense again ?

Hi,
You will have to install the license and activate via phone. The group that activates RDS via phone has the ability to reassign or even split licenses providing you have the license account information and authorization information.
