compact does not like escaped paths

icacls works fine with paths prefixed to relax the MAX_PATH limit...

icacls \\?\D:\phazer\phazer\local\one-wins-in-race.cfg /deny Everyone:(WD,AD,WEA,WA)

I presume other command line tools also work.

compact does not...

compact /c \\?\D:\phazer\phazer\local\one-wins-in-race.cfg
Invalid drive specification: \\?\D:\phazer\phazer\local\one-wins-in-race.cf
