Storage Migration Service and Windows Server Cluster in Azure as a target

Unfortunately Storage Migration Service can not migrate clustered file server role to a standalone server. Therefore I'm wondering what is the recommended way to migrate a file server role from on-prem WSFC to Azure VM?

The idea is to keep the UNC paths so the users won't need to manually re-map their shares.

Building a WSFC cluster on Azure to host a file server is not a production ready option I believe. At least I don't see an official guide on how to do that.

Any hints appreaciated!
