GuillaumeIT64 You are acting like consumers have a real choice when it comes to desktop operating systems.
You will know that Microsoft Windows dominates the PC space. You will also know that And 4 years ago started to make a real dent into Intel's consumer business. This competition led to better products and CPUs for consumers with more cores and better pricing.
However you asked who benefits from delaying important features for decades? Are you an IT pro yourself, because unless you are utterly dimwitted and thick you will know that the company that benefits is Intel.
I mean on one hand you have a dominant desktop operating system. And on the other hand you have one CPU providers features working after 1 year and another's ignored for 1 and a half decades.
And you can't work out who benefits? Isn't it obvious? Intel benefits. Next who suffers? AMD Customers who need to resort to alternative operating systems that lack as many features, because Microsoft Windows is dominant in the desktop space and there is virtually no competitor that supports consumer high quality commercial software on AMD
In fact in your reply you pointed out dolphins are not human and OpenOffice is not ms office. Then at the same time you say move to a competitor.
You are the most oxymoronic contradictory dude I have conveyed with on the internet this year. Congrats on your prize and acknowledgement.
