Re: Printing PDF's larger than 11"x17" does not preview or print correctly
Deleted I did submit feedback, but never heard anything back other than that they got it. How do I follow my issue and see when it gets fixed? Also I can't provide screenshots of the print experience in the feedback tool, so I sent feedback again and copied a link to this thread in the feedback.1.2KViews0likes1CommentPrinting PDF's larger than 11"x17" does not preview or print correctly
We work with construction size PDF's (18x24, 22x34, 24x36) which we send to plotters. In the Microsoft Edge legacy we could open PDF's from a GIS website that provides land survey PDF's at 18 inch x 24 inch, click print, then select the plotter and the correct size and it would then preview and print correclty. In the new Microsoft Edge in both stable and canary, when doing the same task it does not preview correctly and does not print correctly unless you go into the "Print using system dialogue" option which does not give a preview and adds a lot of previously unnecessary steps when you have to print many of these. It seems like when the PDF document size gets larger than 11 inch x 17 inch the scaling and print preview functions no longer work correctly and instead show incorrect or no scaling for printing and clicking print results in incorrect print size on the wrong size paper.1.2KViews2likes3CommentsRe: System.Component!Model.Win32Exception (0x80004005)
PaulAndrew I also tried running from a local admin account and it still gave me the same error about group policy. However, after I installed the assessment tool you linked to, I then ran it again from my standard account and it is working now without an error.30KViews0likes0CommentsSystem.Component!Model.Win32Exception (0x80004005)
I'm trying to run the Office 365 Network Performance Tool, but I get the error message mentioned in the subject line. I've checked our Group Policy, but haven't found what specifically is blocking it. If I run in Windows Sandbox it works, but then has additional network layers to run through. Anybody know what group policy might be causing this?Solved30KViews0likes6CommentsRe: ClickOnce application downloads instead of directly opening the app
CodeDJ I have this same issue. I get around it by calling iexplore.exe in front of the app to launch it from IE. This is a workaround, I would like Microsoft to fix this so it is handled correctly. Here is my example that I use in the shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://website.com/example.application43KViews0likes3Comments
